Even though my favorite football player, Dimitar Berbatov, plays in Man. UTD, I am a huge fan or Arsenal.
Another team I cheer is Impact (Montreal). You need to understand that there is not that much football in Canada. :D

Why isnt there much football in Canada,
is it the climate ,

Why isnt there much football in Canada,
is it the climate ,
Well, first of all, the football here, called soccer, is played mainly in summer because of the climate.
The CONCACAF cup is during the winter because it includes also the countries from Central America.
Also, the main sport in Canada is hockey.
It is only recently that football, soccer, got popular, mainly thanks to the improvement of Impact.
You can see more and more baseball fields getting transformed into soccer/football fields in the summer.
Still, it is not as popular as it is in Europe.
But there is some progress.
Football in Canada , you can compare it to the football in USA 15 years ago.
So, I hope, that one day, we will have some good football here too, and I hope that Impact gets into MSL. ;D
Who knows, one day, Canada may qualify for the World Cup. ;)
-
HI CMF,
thanks for the info on Canadas football /soccer ,
it would be nice to see Canada in the world cup

This test only has one question, but it's a very important one. By giving
an honest answer, you will discover where you stand morally. The test
features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you will have to
make a
decision.
Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous. Please scroll
down slowly and give due consideration to each
line.
THE SITUATION
You are in England, York to be specific.
There is chaos all around you caused by a hurricane with severe flooding.
This is a flood of biblical proportions.
You are a photo-journalist working for a major newspaper and you're caught
in the middle of this epic disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless.
You're trying to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people
swirling around you, some disappearing into the water. Nature is
unleashing all of its destructive fury.
THE
TEST
Suddenly, you see a man in the water. He is fighting for his life, trying not
to be taken down with the debris. You move closer.....Somehow, the
man looks familiar.....
You suddenly realise who it is.....It's Sir Alex Ferguson! You notice
that the raging waters are about to take him under forever.
You have two options:
You can save the life of Sir Alex or can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize
winning photo, documenting the death of one of football's most successful
managers.
THE QUESTION
Here's the question and please give an honest answer.....
Would you select red eye reduction mode or not use the flash setting at all?
-
What about poor Sir Alex ???
-
"poor"?
-
Ayr United was the last professional football team Sir Alex played for. ;D
-
I know there's gotta be a joke in there somewhere about not being able to use your hands but....

myp2p is not showing english prem games. anyone know where wigan v liverpool is being streamed?

Glasgow Celtic have just beaten Dundee United 11 -10 on penalties, they both missed one each on sudden death. Both goalkeepers score their penalties and it went round again, I have never seen that before.

Here is a list of the top 3 teams in Scotland to have scored the most goals this season so far.
1. Rangers
2. Celtic
3. Ayr United Away the Honest Men ;D
-
Last Post February 27, 2009 :-\
Anyways, I am watching Bayern-Barcelona right now, and God does Bayern suck!!!!!
What happened with them? 4 goals in less than 40 minutes :o (for those who are not familiar with football/soccer, this is a lot!)
-
My team blew it on Saturday, with only two games left, they needed the win.
It was a 1-1 draw so they will not win the league, but go into the play-off's for promotion.
They are still the third top scoring team in Scotland behind Celtic and Rangers.
There are only two team's in Britain who have not been beaten at home in the league this season.
Liverpool and Ayr United

You needed one for Rugby,,,thats some SERIOUS friggin injuries there. lol

Confederation cup? Get it there USA!!!!
-
Ayr won the play offs and will be in the Scottish First Division next season, probably the most competitive and hardest of the league's with everyone trying to get into the top flight SPL for the big money.
Don't know what will happen now Setanta look's like going to the wall. :-\
It won't affect the smaller clubs as they never showed any of the games anyway, but the bigger clubs will suffer.
-
Don't know what will happen now Setanta look's like going to the wall. :-\
Few English give a toss what happens to Setanta after they stole the crown jewels, and then held the terrestials to ransom. They would have been far better off romancing them, as that would not only have given them some better long term contracts, but also, it might have meant that the English wouldn't have boycotted subscribing after they missed Theo Walcott's hatrick.
Confederation cup? Get it there USA!!!!
Any Americans know what I meant by that ^ ?
-
the English wouldn't have boycotted subscribing after they missed Theo Walcott's hatrick.
How the Feck could they miss that. ???
The brother in law has it as he is a Celtic support(his brother is a Rangers supporter, can't fecking stand him) I like to watch Ranger's on the TV.(They have won more League title's than any other club in the world and were the first British team to compete in a European final .)
I seen all Ayr's play off games on BBC Alba, it was all in Gaelic so I hadn't a clue what they were saying. ;D
-
How the Feck could they miss that. ???
Setanta didn't miss it, the English masses did. After Setanta refused the normal deal for terrestial TV highlights and asked for a million a pop instead, the game was never shown at all and they even stopped the channels showing all the goals in their news items. They did screen it themselves free to air to try and stem the anger, but as no one knew they were or didn't have access to their channel, only a couple of hundred thousand tuned in.
-
There are 9 pubs within a 20m walking distance from where I stay.
Now only one can afford to pay the price they want to show live games. ???
The Greed for Gold is wasting everything. :-\

Disney to the rescue maybe?
-
It just make's thing worst for the Auld Firm games, it was bad enough when all the pubs in the villages around showed them.
I don't go out when Rangers are playing Celtic.
-
WTF! USA are 2-1 up on Brazil on the Confederations cup, with 20mins left on the clock.
-
2-2 now.. COME ON USA!!!
-
Oh well, USA lost 3-2 but I cannot believe what a good match it was and how well USA played. I would have been proud if England had fared so well.
-
U19 semi-final and England are pwning France...
-
3-1 official score
For England
-
Note to Vilya:
While Croatia might be pissed at England for the spanking they received last night, England will beat Ukraine too, so Croatia only have to beat Kazakhstan to be assured of being in the play-offs for the last four places. I expect then, for you to have plenty of beer ready on October 10th when you may enjoy an English victory.
:)

Ok, scrub that.
Sorry Vilya but it looks like Croatia are all but out of the world cup.

Damn you Arsenal, damn you all to hell!!

Damn you Arsenal, damn you all to hell!!
I saw that match,it looks like West Ham played only 60 mins and then they just waiting final whistle.
-
I was on a buzz from Leeds knocking Man U out and was hoping West Ham were going to dispatch Arsenal, but I suppose they paid the penalty for not taking some early second half chances. They seemed to deflate when Arsenal's first went in and they need a new keeper. And the less said about Upson being beaten in the air by Eduardo the better. Unlucky though, before the game I thought Arsenal were going to stroll it, but West Ham gave a good account of themselves.
-
Soooo,,,howabout them Cowboys? ( Oh god,, please dont shoot me! I was just kidding!)

West Ham were fantastic today considering the amount of players we have out, and what I think actually happened in the game was not the goal or Arsenal's pressure (West Ham easily coped with that) but was that dreadful moment about 75 minutes into the game when Diamanti looked have sustained a nasty injury. My jaw dropped as he limped off the field and I couldn't help thinking that if he went out with an injury we'd have to ask the tea lady to make up the numbers. I was trying to see the midway point where he was getting assistance to see how bad it was and I completely took my eye off the game - I could see some of the West Ham players anxiously looking over too. Then all of a sudden the hole appeared and you cannot take much away from Ramsay's goal truth be told.
Second goal was soft after the usual meltdown that West Ham are prone to and the rest is history.
-
we'd have to ask the tea lady to make up the numbers.
I think she was already in goal.
Seriously though, what do West Ham fans think about Robert Green?
-

Seriously though, what do West Ham fans think about Robert Green?
First couple of seasons I think we would have made him a saint, especially after the season when we beat Arsenal and Man U both home and away. But since his "serious" international career has started I think he is always conscious that the mistakes he makes are picked up by the whole national football following and he looks far less natural in goal than he used to (which is self-evident but 2 or 3 games that he has personally gifted the opposition).
I personally still have faith as it's West Ham's inability to score goals that is their real undoing, however, letting in a sackful when you do score is doubly counter-productive.
-
Woohoo!!

David Sullivan's the porno publisher isn't he? Who'll be the shirt sponsors? Razzle? :P
No, it's good news mate. A bit of stability for the club. If West Ham had gone under though, I was hoping Liverpool might swoop on their youth development team. They seem to produce a steady stream of top quality young English players that we're not producing at the minute.
How far from Upton Park is the Olympic stadium btw.
-
How far from Upton Park is the Olympic stadium btw.
That's in Marshgate Lane I believe which isn't that far from West Ham proper. Upton pk is ironically nearer East Ham or Plaistow, so if they are relocated to the Olympic stadium at least their name will be accurate :)
I am praying what this will do in the short term is keep us out of the relegation zone, but West Ham have done themselves proud of late even with the economic turmoil floating above their heads.
Dave and Dave have talked a lot about what they would like to see from the club, and I really like the idea of Karren Brady being vice chairman (I have never had any confidence in the board), but I wonder how much they are going to plough into the club for new players? They were live on Sky Sports News earlier as I had a mate text me to turn it on, unfortunately I don't have the sports package and couldn't watch it - did you catch it Red?
-
It's actually on now. The fans don't seem to happy at the prospect of moving stadium, but if I was a West Ham fan I'd be pretty excited. He's got a seven year plan to qualify for the Champions League, that seems a bit overambitious to me though.
-
It's actually on now.
I can get Sky Sports News on Freeview in the kids rooms, but flipping Sky has it built into their Sports package and you don't get it without subscribing!! How stupid is that?
-
Very stupid, it is only a news channel after all.
-
Fantastic Wales - Scotland game in the Six nations this afternoon, I would recommend either watching on iPlayer or DLing it from the box or somewhere if you like Rugby union in any shape or form (or even if you don't it was that good).
Ireland - France up next and no prizes for guessing who I will be rooting for.
-
Ayr United down again :'(
Still Ranger's won another domestic league title.
-
I'm still a bit shell-shocked at West Ham's bid for Thierry Henry as a 7.5mil deal is unprecedented at Upton Park. It looks like the New York Red Bulls deal is still good at the moment but the Premier League is where he should be and if we attract some other top flight players, he might be tempted?
-
Fabio Aurelio's available on a free. He'll be able to keep Kieron Dyer company in the treatment room.

They can trade sick notes, Dyer has quite a collection as do most of the West Ham team.

For those who wonder what I am on about, it is now 56 games all in the 5th set. A new world record by a country mile.
-
After 10 hours match, they suspended it and crowd wants still more.
Tomorrow when they return,it might be totally different feeling.
-
Thanks for that Laama, I had to turn over so I didn't actually know what happened. I'll be sure to tune into it tomorrow.

It's on soon and even the Queen has popped down to see it. 59 all as it stands, and standing is something both players must have trouble with at the moment.
-
I was watching the sports channels while cooking dinner last night and I couldn't believe it!!! My husband came home from work and I said to him: Honey, look at the score. The poor man was squinting at the TV trying to make something out of those numbers. His face was so funny!
-
I don't think, that in my lifetime there will be even closely so long and good quality match.
-
'70 - 68'
I can't begin to get my head around that score.
-
Man U - 0
West Ham - 4
Excuse me while I wet myself..
-
Man U - 0

That score was 200-1 before kick-off.
-
COME ON YOU HAMMERS!!!
-
bless'ed referees.
-
Odd sentiment, since it was the ref that let you have your goal.
Definitely the shoulder old son, definitely.
-
Yup.
Just where the shoulder meets the elbow.
Exactly.
-
Ok. Like I'm watching the Swansea vs Chelsea game and a bizarre incident happened whereby Hazard kicked a ballboy in the ribs trying to get the ball back quickly. It all got messy and I said casually to the missus, "what can the ref' do? He can't send him off for kicking a ballboy".
The ref' then sent Hazard off.
I think it was because he got "involved" but I have never, ever seen anything like that before.
-
Hazard kicked a ballboy in the ribs trying to get the ball back quickly.
I went to utube. I kinda felt like kicking the little ... myself. ;D
But he's a pro. He shouldn't do that and get away with it.
-

Home team ballboys are always going to dawdle if the home team is in front, and the opposite if they're behind. It's also not unusual for players to get pissed off with them if the overdo it with the delaying tactics. What I've never seen is a ref' send a player off for something that happened off the pitch (Cantona had already been sent off when he did his kung-fu on a fan).
I reckon John Terry should be sent off at the start of every game for his philandering.
-

It happens all the time here. Not long ago a fan threw a lighter (or something like that) to the field. A Rosario Central player threw it back and the ref said "bye, bye". He wanted to kick himself in the butt, poor stupid.
-

Does that come under the heading of "misconduct"?
Scratch that, I found the law:
The player is also guilty of violent conduct if excessive force or brutality is used against a team-mate or any other person.
-
That law might not be that strict since some defenders I know couldn't even play one single game if that was the case. ;D
-
I am totally impressed by this Womens World Cup. I think England would have won it barring that desperate, attempted clearance, but the English are well used to that sort of thing from the men's game.
I'm rooting for the U.S as I'm piddled off with Japan atm.

When I saw a reply in this thread I was sure it was a comment on our bitter defeat in Copa America yesterday. :'( :D

Bilić hasn't made West Ham look any better this season either (well, perhaps briefly against the Gunners).
Come back "big Sam", all is forgiven.
-
We are just leaking goals, even Exeter put 3 past us.
-
Someone make a song about Jesse Lingard already!
No, wait ... terraces are still empty.
-
You could replace the Hammers by the Baggies in this sentiment ...
Yes, but the other way round.
Mind you, loving the West Brom win over Chelsea. Makes us the top London club in the Premier League.
-
Ok, I'm starting on a Lingard statue.
And possibly an effigy of Masuaku.
-
Referee in the Wales game is either blind, stoopid or as bent as a nine bob note.
-
Referee in the Wales game is either blind, stoopid or as bent as a nine bob note.
I was looking at the urban dictionary explanation of "bent as a nine bob note" and its top definition suggests that it means "gay". This might have been adopted by younger folk but historically "bent" means crooked like "bent coppers", and a nine bob (nine shilling) note never existed so overall the term really means something counterfeit or "on the take".
-
There's a similar term in the US that went out of use a long time ago, "odd as a 3 dollar bill". It also started with the original meaning of "odd", that of "odd" or "weird". Of course, 3 dollar US bills done exist either, thus the phrase.
-
But - strangely - two-dollar bills do exist, and are used to take unsuspecting foreigners by surprise.
Oddly odd and odd and gay all had meanings before they were usurped by slang.
Ordinary word -> subcultural slang -> mainstream -> deemed unacceptable to the original subculture -> cancelled -> start over. It all has roots in "I can call me that, but you can't".
What makes life a bit interesting in today's cancel culture is that once a word is determined to be unacceptable in a given usage, that word is unusable for any meaning, as its use becomes maligned as "coded bigotry": "Black Tie"? "White Tie"? Implied racism.
There was an "interesting" discussion arising when someone (from the press?) determined that "welching on a bet" was anti-Wales discrimination: dictionaries have been updated to indicate this (previously unknown) derivation of the word.
bless'ed taffies. Or any chewy sweets for that matter.
-
This Southgate fella seems to know what he's doing. Bad notion I know, but I'm now glad of what happened to Big Sam.
-
Whether we win Euro 2020 or not, I'm just glad that finally I get to be interested in the full competion rather than it all becoming a damp squib after the first couple of games.
TNG's back home for the final too. Best I hide a few cans for emergencies.
-
I really, really don't like Sterling.
Really.
"So, Raheem - was it a penalty?" "I was in the box and I felt a touch so I went down, and the ref awarded one, so yes". People like him, and those that think this is a Good Thing™, are ruining the game.
Late on at 1-1, Raheem constantly dribbled through the box without attempting to pull it back for someone else or attempt a shot himself just waiting for one of the Danes to foul him. After all, they had broken up virtually every advance by England by fouling rather than legitimate attempts to tackle, so I didn't find it that surprising something finally went against them.
-
Stupid football with its stupid penalties, I'll never believe again.
When's the world cup?
-
West Ham finally got a victory at Old Trafford this evening. It a shame it wasn't in the league, but hopefully the monkey is well and truly off our backs now and we won't have to wait another 14 years to see it again.
-
Bugger! Drew Man City in the next round.
-
At least in the distraction cup you get to play City's second/ youth team (with the odd DeBruyne to sign autographs)
Is that the same team that's won it for them the last 4 or 5 years on the bounce? Wouldn't mind fielding that team if I were their manager.
-
Football ?????
Friends offered myself and the wench 2 tickets to watch England V South Africa in November £120 each 8) 8)
Hotel was cheaper for 2 nights than one ticket.
still Twickers is a whole day + night visit as you just cannot get away from the place (train stain just cannot cope with the amount of people)
Still it is well managed all the way to the station with portable loo's and food
-
That'll be the one. To be totally honest I prefer watching this team to the first team: passing the ball 8,743 times before giving it to Sterling (who gives it to the opposition) wears a bit thin after the first hour or so.
I've never been fond of watching Man City as I always want them to lose and they almost never oblige.

most definitely

After last night I can scratch that.
-
Aaargh. They outwitted me by putting Sterling into the second team!
Until City remember that they don't give points for possession, they are doomed to continue to lose.
In all honesty. West Ham are absolutely the real deal these days. I have had a lifetime of "is this the moment, is this the team?" but they have never lived up to (or anywhere near) expectations and 9 times out of 10 battled relegation. Now, even at 2-0 down I don't think we're going to lose. If they played Issa, Ogbonna, Zouma and Cresswell at the back, we'd never concede a goal anyhow.
-
Allowing 25 attempts on goal - even though only seven were on target - is not a recipe for success against anyone but City. Other teams convert chances, City famously pooh-pooh such mundane ideas.
Last night was not what I was talking about. It's all the other teams this year that we've made look average that makes me confident at last. If that arse Chris Kavanagh hadn't sent of Balbuena last season for nothing more that kicking a ball (in a game called football), I reckon we'd have beaten Chelsea and made it to the Champions league.
-
If that arse Chris Kavanagh ....
Strange I said that and today he lets Kortney Hause do a Chuck Norris on Fornals and get away with it.

Well done you 'ammers: thanks from City!
Incredible what West Ham can do when they go on the front foot!
That's the second time Manchester has had call to thank me. TNG's arrival was the first.
-
Effing scummers.
-
Absolutely bless'ed gutted to hear of Shane Warne's passing. WTF happened there?!
-
A tad surreal as he only just posted about his mate passing away and then he passed :'( :'(
A true character.
-
TNG arrived home yesterday for a week as he's on a mid-term break. What fun it was watching West Ham do a real number on Lyon - especially after the appalling red card decision last week that saw Cresswell getting red carded.
Less said about Dembele's wink (https://www.the-sun.com/sport/football/premier-league/5077693/dembele-cresswell-wink-west-ham/) once he'd bought the foul ... He ain't winking now, that's for sure!
-
Come on England!
-
Which England team?
The one that is good at the football thingy.
-
Have we got one of those? Well, good for them.
That reminds me - I was minded to have a look at the ladies' football team on TV recently. I had to turn it off after five minutes, it was like watching a school match. Alright if you are a parent, but not really football.
I can honestly say that ever member of the England women's squad would play me off the pitch. Even the physio'.
-
Me too. But the same is true of my grandson's junior school team.
All very laudable, and I am pleased for the ladies, but I can't be watching them. Equality is a wonderful thing and I am all for it - as long as I don't have to watch inferior sport and pretend that it is better than it is. Or that I am enjoying it.
I feel that way about European football. If you got points for doing the rolly polly while clutching a leg routine (any leg, doesn't even have to ones own), then I'd highly rate them. In fact, I'd say the same for most of the players in the premiership - other than those who play for West Ham. They are the only honest team out there.
But as you enjoy the rolly pollying dramas and I value your opinion, maybe I'll give it a little more licence and give it another watch.
-
Fair do's - the ladies really don't spend any of their time indulging in gamesmanship (gameswomanship?), and that is highly laudable: I really wish that the boys (and the governance of the boys' game) would learn from this.
... but again, doesn't really improve the standard of the football.
I feel the same about the cricket: laudable of course, and equality is great, but it isn't something I would pay to watch.
I personally find women's football more entertaining than the mens. Admittedly, this is due the the reality of what you allude to which is they aren't quite as clinical as the top male players, but for me, that adds a massive element of unpredictability that really makes it a good watch. And to be fair to the women, the level of skill is now ridiculous all over the park. Some of the England goals would put Ronaldo to shame and our keeper has only let a single goal in over the whole competition. The keeper on your grandson's team would be hard pushed to follow that, I'm sure.
Mind you, this is coming from a man that would happily pay to watch cricket that's been rained off.
-
Thanks England women for finally getting that monkey off our back.
-
Good win and well done
-
Really? I don't think so. The monkey is still there as far as I can see. Similarly the monkey would still be there if the under-16 boys were to win something - the monkey is a men's thing (... or possibly an "open to all-comers" thing, but we haven't got there yet).
The ladies are of course in danger of making another monkey for themselves: when the rest of the world starts taking lady football seriously and stop losing 8-or-more to nil to the big girls then England will be competing on a more level playing field (which will likely be as much of an issue for them as it is for the boys). There are currently only about four nations funded well enough to compete in the ladies at the moment, so the situation is sort of like England men in the 1896 Euros. But I take nothing away from them: well done to the ladies for making hay while the sun shines.
Nope, the monkey has left the building. At least, this is how the mens team have to see it so they can finally play freely without the enormous expectation of "bringing it home". The public (in the main) are already on board so let's now just crack on and stop thinking that a trophy trumps the second coming of the lord (or 3rd, as the case may be).
-
I hope you are right. I really do.
... but I don't for one minute think so. I can't imagine that it hasn't now got worse for the poor sods: "come on guys, if the women can do it ..."
;D I'm sure Lineker will use that line

I must say, I'm liking the World Cup in December. It's all too boisterous in the summer.
-
I'm missing proper football.
Don't worry, it'll eventually catch on in Gosport.
-
England coach Jones sacked, Richard Cockerill to temporary take over.
OUCH not long till world cup.
-
Don't be dissing Gosport Borough FC, you!
They'd probably appreciate the attention.
-
Just like West Ham.
Hey, Declan Rice gets us all the attention we need.
-
Rice, Rice baby ...
He would've been absolutely key against France on Saturday. Perhaps you could do something with his recovery?
-
Well after the two games friday, WOW
Will it be coming home ??

It can go to the moon for all I care. Just as long as we win it.
One thing that simply must not happen: France CANNOT win it twice on the bounce. It's bad enough Italy claiming that rare achievement.

Next time. :-\ :-\
The curse of the penalty

Next time. :-\ :-\
The curse of the penalty
The curse of bent referees.
-
If France win this World Cup, I'll stop watching international football until the Euros...
-
Hasn't the "Qatar Trophy" finished yet?
No idea, Ask the EURO Mp's under investigation ;D
-
Seems like little point bemoaning the bent referees when the whole system from the very top is as corrupt as it can possibly be, and every single player in every single game on every single pitch is dishonest as well (and generally proud of it).
This is an extremely good point, but I'm not sure whether it makes me feel better or worse.

Numb maybe

😂😂
-
I'm having to watch the West Ham game via an online stream again. No idea what I'm paying Sky Sports for.
-
Fantastic last day or the football season and I thoroughly enjoyed watching all the bottom teams scrambling to stay up - far more so than watching those at the top of the Premier League.
I bet redlandslide would have liked to see Everton relegated. I think I would have too.
Scummers went a long time ago (that's Southampton to those who don't know) so it looks like Gosport may bump into a Millwall fan or 2 next season. They'll pretty the place up, no doubt...
-
Pompey-Millwall always has more of an edge than Scum-Millwall. And Fratton is close enough to make a difference: St Mary's is miles away.
City declared in the league a couple of matches ago, I hope that they have remembered how to win for the matches against Untied and Inter.
D'you know, I thought it was closer. Mind you, the last time I went from Southampton to Portsmouth I was riding a 1300 Yamaha so it didn't take long.
In regards to pompey: I just had a gander at league 1 and I was surprised how many teams reside there that used to be top flight when I were a lad.

Proud to be a hammer!

-
Great win, and I'm pleased for you, but it is a strange tournament that I hope City never win; as you have to lose the race to the European Cup (whatever it is called in any given season) to qualify for it!
I'm still confused as to what would happen if you win the conference cup and finish 5th or 6th on the premier league. Would you be promoted to the Champions league?
-
No idea. But I think City have three entries in the Champions League next season - that should improve their chances even more!
They actually have 2x Champions league entries and 1x Europa league, but who's counting.
I just received my new, blue passport so maybe I'll catch a game in Europe next season. Knowing West Ham, though, I'd better be quick.
-
If it weren't for the weather and the cheating, we'd have won the Ashes 4-1.
Yeah, I said it.
-
For Christ's sake England women footballing people, you simply cannot let the aussies turn us over tomorrow!
In the Australian press, they are already predicting a hatrick after the Ashes and the netball.
-
🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
-
Nothing to do with me - I don't care what the wimmin do.
Incredible game in my opinion.
Thankfully, you weren't needed as skill prevailed.
-
Who runs World Rugby, The Farrell scenario is appalling
-
I watched England do the business in the Euros tonight, and did so in the pub with both TNG and Miss TNG. The place was bonkers with cheering and hullabalooing, but it was the most fun I've had in years.
Something has changed with England in major football competitions. It's no longer depressing.
-
... but it was never a penalty.
🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ matters not.
For how much the VAR cost, it is so subjective ( I honest thought the TMO stated its not a penalty on VAR in the review, but ???)
This appeared and I thought 🤣🤣

-
I didn't say that I disagreed with the result, just that it was never a penalty.
Just like the Hand of God should have been disallowed, etc., etc., etc.
Wrong shape ball for me, I just thought it funny and in fact, why not accept that bit of luck when you get it
-
Let's get to the technical reason why England lost again in another major tournament: it's because of all the idiots who sing "it's coming home" before it's actually coming home.
The football gods will never accept that.
-
As a nom football player, we let then play at their game.
Hussle then, play our ENGLISH pace ,not pass-pass-pass European slow pace.
But was a decent game and our next manager may play to our what ever.
Spain didnt look that better, but took their chance
