I switched on my comp this morning, and from it came this horrible noise, pretty much like a car engine on high revs.
Pressed the off button and on again, same noise.
So i let it boot up,then clicked the start and turn off.
Then i switched it on again, and it was fine, nice'n quiet like usual.
Went into the city this afternoon for a few hours, did a few bits'n pieces.
Came home, switched on my comp, same horrible bloody noise, let it boot up,then powered it down.
Switched it on again,no problem, nice'n quiet.
So im thinking maybe it's the bearings in the fan.
Im used to having my machine on lots, but since i've been a little busier with other things,it hasn't been on as much.
I've also recently been switching it off at the wall socket.
Maybe something's having to warm up,it's perplexed me.
Your thoughts anyone?
