In new vegas there is an NCR camp at the airport, where first recon is assigned. You can get to know the squad through dialog. Once you've cleared certain missions, they are transferred to a forward operating base, and walk there in realtime. The first time I tried to escort them they got taken out at cazadore cave, so I reloaded, skipped looting the dead and mowed down the cazadores. The squad made it to their new base unharmed. It felt like old fashioned gaming.

It IS Greek, heh.  :o

I do like some ol' fashion gaming though.  I actually played an alien bug killing game.  Something to do with a shooter as well, so some accuracy played a part and it was two player.  I enjoyed it, but nothing makes up for the MOH withdraws.  No other ps3 game really mattered.. Minecraft, miss my friends there too. I'll get her fixed yet, but then no one else will be left.  They have all gone onto Left 4 Dead, I guess.

I miss running around at crazy speed, all those tactibrown games made moving around so slow.

That's my favorite.  I usually use a recon scan to alert other players of a game play, by making accurate guesses on where the other teams will spread, how many, and I run first to try to take 2 and guard my teammates.  It's more of a point man or assault move, but I need the gun and scan for MOH Warfighter (ps3)  So naturally I end up needing to move faster than my team to assess my moves best.

Got the necromancers warning on this one. :(

Tonight I'm going to do a self made mission I call "Road Crew" in fallout 3. I had to ditch a 20 hour save because doc hoff died while traveling. This time I blitzed a bunch of side missions, and lost some karma going for maximum payouts and not being a nice guy.

I'm going to kill everything hostile on that road with a combat shotgun, and drag their corpses off the "road" so when they respawn, they don't bother my business partners.

They're gonna learn to stay out of my territory.
