I was just thinking, they can grow square watermelons with shaping, why don't they grow onions in a soup can shape for slicing?
When I worked in a deli, we received our vegetables in bins with plastic peel back lids, they came pre-sliced, and I always wondered why the store didn't sell those kits. I'd buy it. They sell diced onions at a premium for those who can't be bothered, why not sliced onion?
No matter how much I practice, I have never, and I am beginning to suspect WILL never enjoy slicing onions.
