This reminds me of the Red Dwarf episode with the talking toaster.  It was a genius at  relentless self promotion.

No.  I haven't seen the recent episodes of Red Dwarf.  It was such a sad, funny show.

But, yes, corporations are now much more powerful than most governments, and they clearly dictate public policy to ours, as the NRA as a lobbyist for gun companies clearly demonstrates.  It's gotten to the point where I am numbed to children being gunned down in schools.  How sick is that?  Maybe we should just take rockets into space and not look back.

I just heard about moon colonies today, supposedly flying out in 2020.. ha
