Browser add-on trouble
« on: December 19, 2009, 03:01:03 PM »
My pc has XP, my laptop has Vista. I use firefox as my browser on both. Firefox on my pc has just about every add-on going on it, and everything works fine. Firefox on my laptop has only a few add-ons so far, and one of them (fireshot) isn't working properly.

I use fireshot to get stills of music videos from youtube for the music video game. The problem when I'm trying to use it on my laptop is when I find a scene part way through a video that I want to capture, as soon as I press the fireshot button, the video starts playing from the beginning again so I can only capture an image of the beginning of the vid. Anyone know what might be causing this?

Maybe it's an oversight by the add-on's developer.

Personally I use Quick Screen Capture 3 and I know a place where you can get it for free...
Don't put off until tomorrow, what you can put off until the day after.

There is an exception to every rule, apart from this one.

Also, if you have Win7, check out the snipping tool.  Even better than Quick Screen Capture, IMO.  Hint, check out the Free Form screen captures.
