Christmas nachos.

Nothing really Christmas-y about this one, but it is that time of year.

you will need

chips
1 can refried beans
1 pound ground beef
1 packet chili mix (I make this myself, but the packet will save you quite a bit of time)
3/4 cup water. You can get this out of a faucet.
1 cup cheese. I used pizza flavor. why not, it's nachos
1 cup salsa
1 cup sour cream
1 cup guacamole
1 can 10 oz pitted olives.
an onion

So you cook the meat, and not the salsa. Drain the grease from the meat. If you've prepped taco meat 1000 times, this can probably be sleepwalked through.
Add the packet (or your own mix) and the water. Reduce until it's a sort of meat paste. Set aside. Dice the onion. You can either go fresh here, or cook it in the frying pan. I did that, because I read that fresh onion causes more gas.

grate the cheese, or don't if you bought pre-shredded. I'm not the cheese police.

Spread the chips on a baking sheet, mix the beans, meat, and cheese to your liking. Broil it until the cheese is melted.

Dump the rest of the crap over the top. Have fun with it. Add Jalapenos if you aren't me.

I had looked up a few other recipes, and they were EFFIN' STUPID. Stuff with skirt steak, stuff with chicken stock, prepping your own beans... If I wanted to prep beans I'd make chili. And I don't want chili, I want nachos.

These probably won't be your best bet if you're on a diet.
