So far I don't like the Android OS at all. Constant freezes, very laggy, and no smooth transition when opening and closing apps. I know 4 or 5 other people who have this problem, same OS, different phones.

i possess a android run tablet.
no problems except the "cannot download from market ".
other ways to download apps though

not everything plays but with a system that runs on so many things, its no wonder.
if they got their act together then who knows.
my wifes phone( HTC) is great with the android system.

I'd like to have an Android device to mess around with but I'm pretty set for frivolous devices right now.  Maybe I'll see if I can install Android on my iPhone 3G once I get it back from my brother.

I've been having those problems as well.  I just assumed it was because the phone is dirt cheap (my phone contract plan is ?9 a month, they hate me )

That is good as I pay ?15 and thought I was getting a good deal.  I do get 300 cross network minutes and unlimited txts with that though.
