I usually use my ISP's DNS servers, but I recently tried OpenDNS and this is what I got when I attempted to visit Diasfora:



What's really annoying is that they don't give you a "let me do it anyway" option, essentially blocking the site entirely to OpenDNS users. My ISP's DNS servers have no problem with this site and I have switched back.

I can only presume that's a hangover from an attack we were subject to in the past.  There isn't trace of any malicious or unauthorised files anywhere in this account, and is is regularly scanned by the main host.

I used to like fishing.

I use Google's DNS, 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.  Either that or my work's DNS.

The server is undergoing some maintenance today which would explain any sluggish page loading etc.

It should be finished soon if it isn't already.

Yep, I had troubles connecting for about 3/4 hours and then I quit trying.

It's working perfectly now.

The database is failing to connect again so I presume the are some mySql issues afoot.  I'll poke the host.

Site wouldn't load for me around 3:05 EST.  It's now 15 minutes later and it seems fine.

Everything looks stable now so it was probably just a load spike.

I didn't witnessed this but about 15 minutes before that it happened the same thing for some minutes and all went back to normal.
