Antichrist- NOT a horror film but horrific non the less.

*Like his previous films, Antichrist is intellectually stimulating even as it repels you, shifting from cute Lynchian surrealism in the first half to Bataillesque perversions in the second.

*Von Trier said at a press conference that Antichrist ?is a very dark dream about guilt and sex and stuff. Not to show it \ would be lying. I don?t think I have to excuse myself. You are all my guests. Not the other way around. I?ve made this little film, that I?m rather fond of, for me. I don?t think I owe anybody an explanation.?

OC1 - I do not know what to say or how to say it. This was by far one of the most psychotic movies I?ve ever seen. I spent an equal amount of time reading reviews and critiques as I did watching the film itself. I?m not recommending it but I?m not say don?t see it. It's a metaphysical experience so.....good luck with that. Holy poo.

Rarely does one review sell me on a movie.  But this one did  

Only shitty screeners out for it.  I'll have to wait.

I will admit the screener I watched was indeed hard to watch It had the timing clock running across the top and the promo logo popping up. There must be one better than that though. I dont mind the promo logo popping up but the timer was just pissing me off.

There's a DVD rip of it up now. Some people are saying it's an R5, but I don't care. 
Just need to figure out a time to watch this bad boy
