I'm so glad the results turned out well, smokester!!
Colon+rectum cancer is one of the most common types of cancers and people older than 45 yrs old should get a colonoscopy (younger if there's family history).
Very true XT and here bowel cancer is one of the most prevalent cancers around. Good survival figures though at over 90% but still a very worrying prospect.
I ticked about 4 out of 6 boxes at worst when being diagnosed and about 2 at best (depending on which way you looked at things), but thankfully it all ended up as a storm in a teacup. I am better versed, better equipped and above all, better prepared for this in my life now even though this time it amounted to nothing. I am glad in some ways that I had this very disturbing period although at the time it was fairly heartbreaking.
have had the whole prostrate and bladder cancer scare .
checked ok , a few years ago.
Tough period for you no doubt. Glad that it was also just a scare.
