As you're probably aware, in the USA a "jock" is somebody who plays sports (generally a jock is thought to be of questionable intelligence).

Ask Smoke's he was the first person I ever heard refer to the Scot's as Sweaties, but my feet are howling.  ;D

To the North West of Scotland they are known as Teuchters. To the North East of Scotland they are know as Sheep Shaggers.  ;D
