The only good thing about Black Widows is that they're relatively docile.
You have to really scare the crap out of them to get them to react.

The bad thing is that they like dark secluded places, so if you're not
careful and stick your hand somewhere that hasn't been accessed in
a while, it might scare the Black Widow and you get bitten.

I learned at a very early age to always check where I was going to put my
hands.  In later life, I learned to wear gloves when I do any work outside.
Those awful gits build their homes in the weirdest places.
Size, it doesn't matter to me so long as I get it...Gotta go now.

 :D

sorry,I couldn't resist my own stupididty.

in all seriousness though, I agree. They love to hide and most bites are the result of accidnetly stumbling upon them and pissing them off or scaring them as you've said. I killed three in the past year, all hidden in places where someone might have treaded and ended up getting bitten. I'm glad as a banana spiders get along so well with me. But when they're not looking , or expecting it..... >:D

The Spiders you need to avoid are Phoneutrea Nigriventer.
  The Brazilian Wandering Spider.
These things aren't afraid of people,in fact they'll rear up on their hind legs and run at you.
80% of bites are fatal, they're very aggressive.

I WANT ONE!!!!!!

Theyre kinda pretty
I keep my standards low.
That way im never disapointed.

I had a row with Photobucket, little pricks, that's why you can't see them any more.
Google Phoneutrea Nigriventer and you'll get all the info you'll need.

A friend of mine had a Mexica Rose Tarantula,it was gorgeous.
I let one crawl from my hand to my shoulder once, the type with yellow bands on it's knees.
  It was quite big.

The dog vid actually fooled me for a sec, I almost shat my pants.  :D
I know, right? :D

If I saw that in real life, I doubt I'd stay around to make sure it's a dog and not a giant spider

Now Zoidberg is the popular one!
