The loudest insect in the world is the male cicadas, which are like crickets. When they rub their abdomens, the sound made can be heard from 1300 feet.

We got those here,, and they dont actualy rub anything,, if you look at them closely,, thats actualy them screaming.
No kidding,, remember Godzilla vs Megalon?
Megalon looked like a cicada close up.

Here in America it is.
Of course, anything that lasts over two seasons is concidered long lasting here anymore.
Seems like theyd take Dr Who off, people have to think when they watch it. God forbid any programing causes the viewer to think about anything but the comercial placements.
