The children and myself are alive and well.  I see I've missed a recent sea of conversation here, that's good you're all doing well.
My daughter is beginning a nee school for autism soon.  I've been pretty booked with doctors appointments and medical such.
My friend has come to visit me some from Indiana, I missed her and it has been better since we've been talking more often.   I was getting awfully homesick, that says a lot since it is Indiana I speak of.

Hope the petrol situation is sorted, soon, smokes.  It's a drag.  I mostly use the car to pick up heavy groceries, but live close enough to shops that I can use one of those grandma type wheel carts if I have to.

Washed our cars and have done all that fun stuff, new batteries, etc.  Got a buffer today so I think I'll try to get those foggy looking headlights cleared up again.  Been watching youtube vids with people buffing them using toothpaste, buffing compound, etc.  Toothpaste is a mild abrasive.  Maybe one with baking soda might do the trick.  Anybody out there ever try this?  The fun never stops here.  I've been whacking back the uncontrolled plant growth and pulling weeds.  It's satisfying but time consuming.  Oh well.

Still no sign of petrol. I think I'll have to start using my rum to run the vehicles.

Perish the thought!!!

Not a chance. Rumour has it that it could be bad until Christmas.

I think that might be stretching it a bit.

Got filled up at a Co-op petrol station and they conveniently had the prices unlit. I was trying to see what is calculated to by slowing down when I got to a litre and it was somewhere in the mid £1.40s. That's about right for round here but if it was over £1.50, then shame on you Co-op.

CO OP's all over are pricey. But it could be fairtrade petrol  ;D ;D ;D ;D
£1.40 is similar to us. rising to £1.50 in the expensive garages  :o

That's a long way to go to get petrol.

Not if you live there.

I think it was about a Euro per litre when I was on the island.  The price had risen from .85 over the year I was there.  I don't envy you those prices.  It's kind of pricey here, but we pay per gallon.  I think the last time I gassed up it was 3.99/gallon (and that was a deep discount), so slightly cheaper than what you are paying but California has some of the highest prices in the nation.  I think it averages around 4.50 here.

You can still see the price per gallon in some stations here, but our gallons are bigger than yours so I'd have to speak to TNG to do the math.
