The way I heard it, it can't really do that. One of the Oxford team that developed their vaccine was explaining that for it to become really deadly and vaccine evasive, it would have to lose its spikes which would then render it hardly transmissible.

I like that theory whether it's true or not.

Had my flu jab last night, no pain no symptom's of any type.
Weird people will happily have a flu jab every year, which is pure guess work and yet not have the C vaccination which has far more money thrown at it.

I do kind of hate that they guess at what strain of flu is going to hit each year. I believe there are three particular variants, and when the wrong one hits, it's super deadly.

People don't seem to get that the flu can be a death sentence.

Unsure if i have already mentioned about the flu strain the strains. Friends partner works with the research of the strains and yearly jabs.
We follow on from Australia and as Australia was in lock down, their winter our summer the Virologists haven't a clue what will hit us. Would guess that Australia will now follow us.

I'm sick as a dog, but at least it's not covid, Antigen test NEGATIVE.

I'm going to the doctor tomorrow. My doctor was super pissed that the health center made my appointment yesterday "virtual"
She did speed order me some medical grade cough syrup, but warned it only masks the symptoms and to get in there.

They have to do a whole protocol to get me in the building because of my cough.

In my personal experience that's no guarantee you don't have it. My wife's sister's family did tests as they were unwell and 2 out of 4 of them tested negative but were later proved to be COVID positive. We still have to use them twice weekly for school and work, but I haven't a tremendous amount of faith in them.

Have booster jab on Monday. If similar to the first jab, all I'm expecting is a sore arm and tiredness, which atm is all I am feeling.

So finally got my Ancestry DNA results. I know I have Scottish and Irish ancestry but Norwegian is a surprise.

My doctor gave me an inhaler and had me do the far less comfortable covid test.

What a singularly unpleasant feeling. I wouldn't say it was pain, but it was definitely no me gusta.
