37 locally but a brief spattering of rain this morning for about 5 seconds.
Would say Im dreading going to work but the entire factory is air conditioned and the sectioned is also airconditioned ( a fridge inside a fridge ) I have to put on a jumper to keep warm  :-[ ;D

I have no such luck. The only way I can keep cool is to drink quite a lot of ice cold beer.

There are probably other ways, but who's counting.

I'm vacationing, visiting my brother, and they have central air. They like to keep the thermostat at 67F so it's ice cold inside. 1% complaining, 99% bragging.

I have one of those disposable sprayer bottles filled with water and I just spray my hair and beard constantly.

Also I grew a beard.

What happened was one day I forgot to put the beer in the fridge and it was all gross and warm, and it takes like 45 minutes to cool a can, so I went googling how to get around that.

One of the articles was FOR CHILDREN and it said to wrap your "soda" in a piece of wet paper towel because science and faster.

So I figured, hey, if I make my head wet, that should cool poo down.

And it did.

Wow got a pay rise this week   :o :o :o 14.6%   :o :o :o
that came as a shock as I have been working there for 4 months.
They do listen when you state they cannot recruit due to wages being low

I'm working non stop at the moment to get a bit of a stash so that all the price hikes won't be too painful. The problem is, I'm totally worn out and the physical pain is too painful.

It seems these days every 3rd sentence I utter relates to a bill or payment of some kind. That may just be down to my personal situation, but it feels like I'm financially being picked on.

I wouldn't mind so much if I could come home on a weekend and watch sports, drink beer, put my feet up and be pampered. That ain't likely to happen as my weekends start around 2pm on a Sunday.

I have a meeting and assessment with my local Gas Safe representative tomorrow afternoon and, if he thinks I'm ok, I complete my probatory period. It's quite a big thing as if it all goes OK I can sign up for free training from various manufacturers etc, and broaden my expertise.

And, blow more things up.
