Not that you'd know this but, back in the day, Burberry was adopted by English football hooligans as their label of choice. Not that he'd know it but he really looks the part. All he's missing is a dashed "cut here" tattoo on his neck.

My favorites are the designer brand items conceived and produced after death by dead designers.  Laura Ashley, Yves St. Laurent, Bill Blass, et al.  Somehow the thrill persists for some consumers.  It's all licensed and has nothing to do with the designer.  I wonder what's better?  Fakes after something actually produced by a living designer or licensed products they had nothing to do with that still bear the brand name?

We made it through allergy cold season, viral respiratory infections have been going around.

Just got home from 3 weeks touring Sardinia and north Spain  .
Surprisingly the campsite just outside Santander was the winner. Stunning beach and great rockpools, the vast amount of dark ale did help as well. Whereas Sardinia has a seaweed problem on some beaches which is left to decompose.

There's a story about Taylor Swift's release of a new album on National Public Radio... and it's treating us to the sounds of her fan singing TS songs.  My dad used to quip, "would you like a bucket?"  and I'd ask why?  He'd come back with "to carry that tune in..."

These young women are experts at singing off key.  Perhaps that's one reason I never got into Karaoke.  She sure has some dedicated fans...

I was watching the rugby this evening and during one of the long "clock off" periods they played the Spice girls - Wannabe in the stadium. It sounded absolutely dreadful without a morsel of vocal talent being heard.

It's no secret that you just over produce a song with poor singers to disguise it, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time - especially when it's played on a massive sound system.
