It was like watching Stepford Wives giving obligatory standing ovation to every lie that passed his lips.  The Democrats sat there helpless.  What is even more disturbing is to see the people who thought it was a positive speech and who chided the Democrats for not applauding.

Jesus wept.  And, chris, I don't blame you for fearing for the future.  I don't understand how so many people could vote for him in the first place after all the horrible things  he's said and done.  He should have been impeached and convicted but the GoP didn't have the stomach for it and now we get this.

One more way in which America has been lessened.  Mr. S. African chainsaw massacre has decided to go after Accounts Receivable (like a mad man) because you really don't want the tax revenues that the Government depends on being collected in an efficient manner, do you?

The IRS (Internal Revenue Service) regulates tax practitioners and offers free continuing education in the form of videos and live online webinars.  Two of these that were scheduled for late Feb and early March have been cancelled.  They've laid off tons of workers in the middle of tax season.   

I work in this field and have enjoyed the free continuing education credits and the informative updates on tax policy and procedures that the webinars cover.  Now, apparently, the government wants to cripple the IRS.  Maybe someone can explain this to me like I'm in kindergarten so it makes sense.

I'm quite honestly lost for words in regards to America's behaviour towards Ukraine. Am I alone in thinking that something very bad is coming our way in the wake of this?

Or, it could just be Trump waving his willy around just to make sure the world knows he has one.  I'm reminded of Idi Amin.  Didn't he do something utterly ridiculous like make some high ranking UK official crawl on the rug in front of him in order to gain some concessions?

That's what this is like.  Poor Zelensky has to kiss the ring.  Trump wants that Nobel peace prize so badly and he needs to make himself the center of the universe in order to agree to get something done.

youtube has thousands of cat videos, and most of them are annoying.  But I was surprised to see that some enterprising videographers had made videos for cats to enjoy.  I never knew that cats would watch tv, but they are 8 hours long, perhaps to entertain lonely cats while owners are at work.   They feature birds, squirrels and chipmunks running around in the visual field.
