I think you're right about that. And I did a few posts and I almost got used to the change. Anyway, as hmed says, in a day or two we won't even remember how it was before.  :)

Is everything set in place currently? I mean, are there things that you will still be adding to the layout and just havent yet? Just curious.

Nice one Smokes :) It looks good, nice'n'fresh.
It's not important, but any chance we could have our avatars on the page somewhere?

He's still working on a few things we previously had but if you think we're missing something go ahead and mention it.

This links bar used to be on the bottom of the page too.

And the HTML codes added to the quick-reply

Those are the only things that I am mentally missing. Otherwise awesome job. Smokes might want to think about a donation account too for this site. My $5 that went to Noid is just sitting there. Just a thought.

Ah, I never go to the home page of DD (or any fora for that matter).  I usually bookmark the "Show new replies to your threads) and use that.

This theme originally had the avatar in the header but it was only for one that was no bigger than about 80px.  I could havee edited the layout to have one perhaps 120pv but that would have meant smaller ones in the posts too (they are currently 150x150).  I opted in the end to hack it out of the header completely so as to keep the narrow and uncomplicated design.  I will play with it offline and see if a compromise with the avatar size looks better.

That used to be a simple task of enabling inline links, but it doesn't seem to work in either theme here and another thing I shall get around to.  I shall try and make the font sizes and board colours stand out a bit more, but that is a case of trial and error really.

I have other things to get into the code first though as hardly any of the mods we used have been updated to this version yet and have to be entered by hand, that said, there are some far better things you can plug into this compared with V1+ that we have been using.

Bad news and good news:

Quote from: karlbenson
There is a bug in RC1 which necessitated disabling more than one linktree per page.
(otherwise you would end up with 3 or 4 linktrees for some pages).

Youwill be pleased to know that this is fixed in RC2 which will be released to the public in the near future (and is already available to charter members)

Should have it back fairly soon then and I'll keep my out for the release of RC2

I see the response for this but did I miss one for the rest?

Playing with enhancing the quick reply as we speak and I do all this not for money.

This is probably fairly low priority, but in the member list view you cannae sort by status.  It seems to be sorting by name instead.

It's not really important since you can just scroll to the bottom of the homepage to find out how many people are online, but if you need something to do, you may want to take a look

Now Zoidberg is the popular one!
