I was planning on "Let me out you bastards!"

I think that it is a reference to an obscure religious figure, and his habit of not staying dead.

good morning, I should have gotten that 'see you Monday' reference. doh

I know when my dad died it was hard to do the headstone thing.
It made it so,,damned final.
We finaly settled on " May your soul fly free,,youve earned your peace"
He did three tours of viet nam as a SEAL. He could never come to terms with what he had done or seen over there, and the trouble here since he was a veteran of over there.
We thought what he had on his headstone was appropriate

I came up with the idea of it.
Strange thing too,,there is a song by Poison that kinda described him,,Something to Believe In.
We had it played at his funeral,,to this day I cant listen to it,,and its a really good song too.
SOme people didnt apreciate it,,but I didnt figure they would understand anyway.
They didnt even like what we put on his headstone,,they said it wasnt what he would want.
It caused quite an argument

Shame how death seems to bring out the ugly side of families.

Yeah,,
I know when mom passes,,me and my brother are going to sitin the driveway with loaded guns, andshoot the first relative that comes and tries to vulture anything.
When dad passed away,,we had to chase people off who came up wanting stuff that was his. The will wasnt even read yet,,and allready relatives were lined up wanting this and that.
Im still fighting with this one idiot that wanted dads guns.
Fortunately for me im the one that inherited them and dads jeep.
My relatives are rediculous,,i dont even claim most of them.
I want THEIR heads stones to read " Gone,,LOST,,and FORGOTTEN"

I've always loved the 'do not weep for me' one.

In my travels I've always made it a point to visit old, old graveyards to read the headstones. Often odd, eerie, or humorous. Always glad I took the time. Only in Germany there were places I wouldn't go. After a 3-year research project, I couldn't.

i'm intrigued as to what these places are or could not go to  ???
