I'm not a big watcher of US TV, and have never seen House, but Hugh Laurie is pretty annoying in everything else he's been in so I'm pretty sure I'll never see it.

And having said I don't watch much US TV, Cliff Clavin is one of my favourite comedy characters.

Dont feel bad, I dont watch alot of US tv either,, most is just brain numbing drivel.
Although , I am a big fan of Married With Children ( AL Bundy for president!)

Seriously, I grew up with this show. This was one of the first American shows broadcast in eastern Europe and was a HUGE hit in my country.

I can identify with him sometimes being maried to the Devil like I was.
 Yep,, My ex was a Peg Bundy through and through.

But, Samuel Hamilton is my favorite character of all times.  East of Eden.
