In the states some retailers are breaking down and 'price matching' this season. That's something that had basically disappeared. Other places are offering really nice discounts of one item, or your whole ticket. They're doing targeted dates(sometimes a one day only sale), so you have to hit that window. But if you time it tight, you can save lots.

Yeah, a few businesses here close by are trying to do anything to get people to come buy something.
A record store is having a one hour 75% off sale this saturday.
I keep my standards low.
That way im never disapointed.

That's a great deal for those who still have record players. Not to many people have record players any more. But, I heard some where they are making a come back. I, myself have a few hundred records. But I'm really into tube stereo receivers. The difference between solid state and a tube stereo is a tube system sounds like the band is right in your house. There is nothing like it!
I may not have my Cherry, but I still have the Box it came in.

No kidding! Nothing like a tube setup and those huge tower speakers.
As for the term record store,, I was using it as a generic term for " CD and DVD music retail outlet" lmao.
I got WASP: Live at the Key Club for like,, wow ( you wont believe this) 5.99!
 Great concert.
I got the two cd version of Scar SPangled Banner from Exodus for only 6.99.
Cant beat that at Walmart if they even had the guts to cary English music instead of just Hispanic.
I keep my standards low.
That way im never disapointed.

I just got this thumb drive.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220370

I've already got a 500GB Seagate ext hdd (as well as a 2xhdd docking tray and 1xhdd docking tray) but I wanted a beefy usb drive so I could put OS images on it for booting a computer to them (images such as Ubuntu, Backtrack, Katana, Helix, etc).

You might look into just getting an external enclosure you like then getting the hdd yourself to put in it.

Unfortunately Newegg or Bestbuy doesn't work in Europa, now when U$D is down,it could be cheap shopping in ? users even after taxes.
i'm waiting for someone to start an antisocial networking site.

Yep, that's about it.  If you want to use a laptop hdd, make sure when you are looking at external enclosures that they accept 2.5" drives (the form factor for laptop hdd's).  Almost every enclosure has USB but many often have other connecting options as well.  One I have has USB and eSATA and another has USB, eSATA, Firewire.
