Bruv, it's man-flu already otherwise you wouldn't have mentioned it.

Tell the missus you need a lie down and a cuppa wouldn't go amiss.

Why o why did Apple give up and remove access to E books on iTunes ?
That is the only reason I use an Ipad mini and a few films.
Can use a few apps to transfer an Ebook into via ITunes but all have their flaws
Internet is awash with anger over this.

Have you checked under File Sharing, to see if your eBook program is there? If so, you should be able to drag-and-drop to it like before.

I think Apple just removed the "Books" section from the iPad devices section and moved the functionality into File Sharing instead.

I'm trying to figure out how a day of preparing invoices ended up as a day of helping my daughter do her homework.

I believe it has something to do with hoodwinking.

goldie, this may be a hopelessly naive suggetion, but have you considered removing itunes and replacing it with an older version?  I have an original iPad and the only way I can load things onto it is to run old itunes on an ancient MacBookPro I have.  I need to use a separate computer to interface with my iPhone.  Those guys in Cupertino are allergic to maintaining older hardware, which, imho, is environmentally irresponsible as well as elitist.  Not everybody can buy a new tablet every 15 minutes due to budgetary constraints.

looked into this but decided not to as there are so many stages and I just cannot be bothered.

I have the apple book program and have lost no books.

It works for me. Maybe its a Windows issue?

Anyway, what dweez says is (of course) true: drag and drop - works for apps and ringtones too.

Apple removed the Books option in Itunes so calibre cannot "communicate" and therefor transfer books into Itunes.
Will try the drag and drop but reaf somewhere that it didnt work for that person.

At the moment I installed ebook app and file share into that ( as dweez suggested ) not such a big deal but going through lots of individual folders to find a epub file is a little painful.
Hopefully Calbre will sort find a fix ?? or why bother having calibre

Get well soon old chum.

goldie, I hope that heals quickly and without scarring.  It sounds really painful.

Cannot remember what happened as I blacked out, but guessing a wheel went from under me and I face palmed the road. How I cycled home I have no idea as I was going to work  :-\ :-\
Helmet was not damaged just my cheek and nose area, A&E consultant said lucky not to have lost most of my teeth and not broken my cheek bone.
the stitches under my upper lip re connecting the " frenulum labii superioris" hurts like mad,
split for about 1 inch.

My dad stopped riding motorcycles before I was born.

Apparently he road rashed his backside shut, requiring surgical intervention.

That would probably kill interest in ANY hobby.
