That I really can't ask my body to perform like that of an 18yr old, unless the 18yr old in question has chronic arthritis and is 5 stone overweight.

I stopped asking for that for many years now.

What I'm thinking right now: I know if I drink less and I cut down on junk food I'd add years to my life. But could I add them now and not when I'm 80 years old?

Problem for me is that I'm back doing the work I did when I was 18, and if I act like some old doddery fart that I probably truly am, I'll never earn a penny.

Truth is though, I can work just as well and I am just as strong as I ever was. The real difference is after I've finished the labour, then my age really starts shouting at me.

I was in Stratford today and saw all the Olympic bits going on.  While the development is impressive, you cannot get away from what a poo-hole the area truly is.  Why else would there have been undeveloped land in London.

Anyone planning to come here for the games, whatever you do, do not stay in East London.  Stay somewhere in the North of the city and travel in.
