It smells like something crawled under my house and died.  The woman in the adjacent apt. was complaining about the same thing a week ago.  It's hard to get under the house as there is only a very narrow opening into the crawlspace and it's like a spider paradise under there.  The idea of rummaging in the dark and filth to find some rotting dead thing is not especially appealing.

Can you not strap a camera and a torch to a long stick and investigate from afar?

I poked my head into the crawlspace this afternoon and it smelled fine.  I didn't see anything at all.  Hopefully, I'll figure it out eventually and it won't have been caused by anything expensive to fix.

I'm glad I don't have to go foraging around under the house to drag some half eaten dead opossum out or similar horrors.

You are very brave, I dont think I would be able to that. I watch those remodel shows and crawl into those tight dark spaces under the house... its like what if something attacks? You have no where to go.

That I'll never be able to to do a 30 minute ride across London on 2mins 45 seconds.

Now 2mins 28 seconds.

Now 2mins 01 seconds.

About rum cocktails and the fact that it's easier to get a suntan in the U.K than it is to acquire some canned coconut cream (that's coconut cream, not creamed coconut).

If you're making something like piña colada probably coconut milk will do. Some are thicker than others. When Brazilians prepare batida de coco or batida de abacaxi they also add sweetened condensed milk. It makes it thicker, sweeter, you drink more and vomit sooner.  ;D

I hadn't read this post yet but also bought some condensed milk for said cocktails, so it seems I'm in good company.

The cocktail I want to recreate is called a Coco Loco and it really needs the coconut cream. However, it is bloody good fun trying other things and failing, as you then have to try again.

And again.

And again...

Ah, really not failing... Positive thinking. I always see my glass half full. But that's because I already drank part of my drink.
