That's the soonest you could get in?  Sometimes they have cancellations?  No more urgent care appointments?

They'd fit you in if it was a real emergency - like an abscess or something.  And going to an out of hours dentist will cost you big time.

Here the NHS caps the cost non cosmetic dental work, so you're better off sitting tight for a regular appointment. If you can.

Take tooth out - difficult as tooth is healthy except for part missing and very DEEP root, Dentist reluctant to do.

Haven’t any work done for year so unsure and I cannot get anything done till 23rd January.

I'm pissed off after sustaining a hand injury.  That is the worst case scenario for me right now.

I'm pissed off after sustaining a hand injury.  That is the worst case scenario for me right now.

Shard of glass though the centre of my right hand. It was like a flat, sharp chopstick.  It must have snagged a tendon as my ring finger is really painful.  Other than that I just have wadding and a square dressing on it and I'm wearing one of my motorcycle gauntlets to carry on with this current job. If it gets really bad I'll go and have it stitched, otherwise, as long as I can grin and bear it for a few more days I can pack up work until the new year.  That should give it time to mend.

Some tendon and ligament injuries require treatment within 4 to 8 weeks. When I mean treatment I mean surgery. Of course I'm not saying you need surgery but if it doesn't get well soon you should consider seeing a doctor. It's your right hand after all, Rambo.

It bled like a mother. I had to keep cupping my hand and pour the blood down the waste disposal. There's a shitload of bacteria in for a shock.

I have so many stitch and straight up laceration scars on my right hand that I'd brain-fry a palm reader if they ever tried to read it. These days I just think of cuts like this (serious as they might be) as a restraint on my earnings.
