Was woken up at 3am, local scrap yard mysteriously blew up. What followed sounded like a shotgun firefight.
Plenty of fire engines and police around this morning, makes a change  ;D ;D

I'm thinking no matter how loud a scream at the telly, Wales are still going to lose.

However, I'd still have Argentina to cheer on.

Think of it this way: whatever you can't do due to time-of-day limitations, I'll make up for.

It's totally absurd. They disallow what look like perfectly good tries because the referee checks it with the TMO when he's unsure, but they couldn't check a penalty that awarded the wrong team the game.

That did more harm to the game than all  the "good" the world cup is supposed to bring.

After a dreadful car journey back from Wales yesterday, I can honestly state I hate motorway driving, or it should read I hate so many roadworks crippling our motorways

Had a lovely afternoon visiting son at Birmingham University, all except he burnt a hole in my wallet  ;D ;D
seems to be getting on great. Weird though some of his lectures are podcasted and he is given the lecture so he doesn't really need to be there ??
