How did she do?

They said the result would be back by the 1st of October (I think), but as none of those working in my local authority had grammar school education, they're probably only half way through.

Grrrr..

That's annoying, to have to wait for results.  I'm sure you are all nervous about it.  I'd be stressed.

Apparently, the "first" was meant to read the "first week" of October which was corrected up until I checked today. Now it says the 15th of October.

This is what you get for outsourcing the marking procedure.

I take the missus to work most days too. She does only work about a mile away, though.

You'll be awake at 2.30 rather than 3.30 tonight.  I'd have an extra large brandy before bed if I were you.

Or even if I were me.

The Bombay was a tad smoother but with mixer who cares  ;D ;D I have a bottle of Ophir gin which has a hint of spices which I do like ,so far, the best

tarascon wrote this morning to tell me he's settled into his new 600 square foot apt in MI and looking for work.  His ancient laptop died and so he uses the library computer, but fears to use this site on there.  In the meantime, he's getting lots of reading done, so he's pretty happy with that.  He asked me to pass along his regards to all of you.

Good for him. He's made of stern stuff for sure.

Pass on my best wishes and offer of support.
