I don't know the etymology of batshit, but it's evocative. Really gets people going.

How come, when it comes time to pay, people expect to be paid immediately, but when a check is due, it will come in between the 2nd and the 5th?

I used to have sellers be surprised when I did payment on checkout with Amazon. I'd hate to see what type of cowpoo they have to put up with on the regular.

Bank ATM punched a hole in my card like it's a bless'ed vampire or something. That should stop me from using it.

I caught a flu bug a few weeks back and it kicked my ass.  It got passed around at work and several people missed 3-4 days of work.

Found everything. Monitor doesn't detect the computer or vice versa.

So I've got it hooked up to the TV, which looks AMAZING, but will cause quite the crick in my neck.

I really like the dining room table I'm using as a desk.

Probably a stupid question but... Did you power it off, unplug it, plug it in and turn on the monitor again? I'm sure you unplugged the video cable on both ends and plugged them in again. Did you try a different cable?

It's looking like it's the monitor being poo. Just realized when I set the machine up I was using a different monitor than this.

which sucks, because that piece of poo is even smaller.

Eh, fate wants you to save on your power bill. Don't tempt it by buying more garbage rope.

I got the monitor to work today, but as soon as I tried to adjust it, it powered down and won't turn on again.

golly clever engineers. I think monitors should work like a lightbulb. ON or OFF, no extras.

huh. company no longer exists and all google results are for this issue. Glad they went out of business. Dunno what I'm going to do, already expected to pay phone bill on hopes and dreams.

I switched power cords and held the display upside down.

It is now displaying an amber standby light.

Say what you will about the monochrome displays in FO3, they were built to last.

Fingers crossed, booting PC.


OK, now it's just bless'ed with me. Booted windows fine, ran game fine, flying helicopter fine, landing helicopter [MONITOR HAS POWERED DOWN]

I dunno if the power supply inside the display is dying or what, but it's an bottom.

I'm not sure whether I'd be happy or sad if my missus was jetting off somewhere. On the one hand I'd get more bed and less snoring is my ear, but on the other it'd be a whole lot colder.
