After 3 days of trying to figure out why my graphics card was not performing and the drivers crashing (completely uninstalled/installed the drivers several times). Thought my $630.00 card was borked. I tried my old card and the same thing. \o/ It wasn't he card. I finally figured it out. I bought <gasp> a Windows 10 Pro key ($32.00 USD). My first legit OS. Downloaded the .ISO from Microsoft, installed and activated it. My problem went away.

That cough has been raging all over the place with people going down for weeks with it - my children included. Somehow (touch wood) I seem to have got away with it. I've felt it trying to take hold, but I kick its arse with some Hine VSOP.

Works every time - or maybe it doesn't but I've had to too much to know the difference. It's fun either way.

Grumbling about the bless'ed poo new library, and how the builders were poo, and spent more time making it "pretty" than installing proper plumbing so now it's flooded, and the only way this could be more poo would be if it burned down, and how no one is going to get their head chopped off for this and I want them to.

So a year it's been. I don't give a flying golly about how a library looks, or it's childrens program, or reflection area, or even their dinosaur computers that all got ruined. Hell, make it a big cube for all I bless'ed care. Just have the books and be open.

So they aren't even bothering with a proposed opening date anymore, which is not surprising. They said March 2016, then the reality of poo builders set in and they said Jan 6th 2017, and now they aren't saying poo.
