I have just had a friend go back there offering an open invitation to come and stay.  So quite possibly next year I'll take him up on it, although I actually plan to get nearer to you XT in the Caribbean.  No doubt you'll be able to hear me shouting at the kids when I get there, as I'll be near enough to hear in St Lucia.

I once knew a Canadian guy that used to go twice a year to the Caribbean and he told me (in his opinion) one of the most beautiful places he's been to was St. Lucia.

Technically that would be Italy but even if they weren't the people still wouldn't be Sicilian as they are Eolians (and a large population of Calabrians).

It is a very balanced island with plenty to see that is both natural and man-made.  But i particularly like it because of the attitude of the people there.  There are parts of the Caribbean that I daren't set foot in.

Luton is considered a bit down market by Londoners, probably because of Lorraine Chase.  But it has a truly rich and remarkable history dating back 6000 years or something and doesn't really deserve all the bad press.
