Some men just look good sporting a coat of grime. Think of Aragorn in the LOTR movies. Viggo Mortensen is good looking enough, but when he played Strider he really doubled up on sexy points.

Plus if you ever go though a Spaghetti Western Sergio Leone-esque phase some day, you might start watching Westerns.. then maybe you'd like his Westerns he's done.

..and it doesn't hurt that he speaks 8 languages, is a painter, was married to a punk star, and does father/son poetry readings. That should make him at least a wee bit crush worthy

I already have gone through a spaghetti western Sergio Leone-esque phase
Saw the whole Man With No Name trilogy and I really liked some of the more recent westerns like the remake of 3:10 to Yuma and The Assassination of Jesse James.
PS Clint Eastwood was hot

It's a police drama about this new division headed by Osawa Eriko. The members of her team are from different depts in the police, and are all weirdos. Kimoto brings a pillow with her everywhere she goes, Yamamura is obsessed with his hair tonic because he's balding, Iwai is merry (the guy in the pic chekovsulu posted), Hanagata is a kid fresh out of the academy and Katagiri (the second guy I posted) is Broody McBrooderson who has some secret. Nodate (the guy I posted) is Osawa's superior, but they're good friends; he's always flirting with every girl he sees.

I don't usually watch Japanese dramas, but I saw a promo for it on TV (for a cable channel) and I was really bored, so I just went to mysoju and watched an episode (and eventually the entire series). I thought it was really funny, I see it more as a comedy than a serious police procedural, the murders aren't written that well anyway except for a few. Yuki Amami is really good as Osawa, but then she usually does these strong woman roles anyway. She and Takenouchi Yutaka are hilarious (not that the rest of the cast isn't funny).

Japanese dramas are kinda like Brit shows, usually less than a dozen eps, this one has 11.

^I watched part of the first episode. Then I got busy and didn't get back to it.  The pacing is different from an American cop tv show. It's not like a situation comedy, but.. it is more funny/goofy rather then overly serious. And Nodate's voice really steps him up a notch. He has kind of a baby almost nerdy face, but the nice deep voice of a samuraii I haven't seen enough of the rest of it yet to judge anyone else.

Deep voice of a samurai, LOL. I just saw The Last Samurai on tv, and one of the samurai was had this intriguing intensity to him. I googled him and came up with Hiroyuki Sanada, wondered why that name and face looked so familiar and realised you posted him before

I watched Sunshine again last night. I'd forgotten what a nice voice Hiroyuki Sanada has. Plus he's super cute also.
