^ I don't even think I noticed that. Since it's supposed to be a 'made-up' town.. I hadn't really thought about it. I just considered it another town the mom was using to drift in and out of, so it could be any town, any where. That's kind of the point.. all the towns had become the same town, over and over. And.. a town wth rel nams.. would have messed up that illusion.
It's not the best movie ever. Maybe not even his best dramatic role. But I liked the 'story bookish' quality to it... and the fact that realty has a habit of finally running head long into a person'a story book life, no matter how often they run...or how hard they pretend things aren't real. Eventually it's best to confront things... and solve them.
