My TV cut out, displayed a GIANT HOUR GLASS.

I thought "Oh good, I've finally been hacked, my computer is doomed."

Suddenly: YARN BITCHES. How to make some sort of blanket.

Mom chromecasted from her phone, and hit my TV, that I use as a monitor.

She now knows the difference between VIZIO and TCL. But... YARN BITCHES!

Been a while, but my dog did it again. He was being affectionate, so I picked him up and was petting him.

PSYCH! It was all a play to steal the roll of ritz crackers on my desk, he ran off with the thing and hid under mom's bed, snarling and defending his prize.

I got it back after he ate a few because they're ultra-salty, he's walking around going mlem mlem mlem, he's got salt tongue.

Little scallywag fooled me again.

Sounds manipulative and intelligent.  Has you wrapped around his little doggie paws.  Puttin' on the Ritz.

Cats on the catwalk.  Good for a minute's amusement.

I was watching Half in the Bag, which is from red letter media. I'll skip linking it, as it's a rather long video for a one note joke, but one Character bursts in and yells that he has the virus! The Macarena virus!

He then does the dance and begs to be killed. I laughed for a good ten minutes. That stress is real.

ah golly it,

4:25, for those who want to skip ahead.

My aunt having a tech issue I am like, 100% uniquely suited for, and the hurdles in the way. We can call each other on skype, but I don't have permission to type to her.

How dumb as poo is that?

If the ISO file doesn't fix her problem, we'll have to go deeper into the weeds.

I still think if you have the CD key you should be able to run a game however you damn please, disc checks belong to the past!

So, as we're locked down indefinitely, I decided to treat myself and I bought myself this:

https://www.samsung.com/uk/monitors/curved-cj890/

I had to wait a few days as it came from the Czech Replublic but it was well worth to see the smile on the young delivery man's face - and he was wearing a surgical mask. He was just stood at my door in a standing legs-crossed stance, resting a hand on the box which was on-end with the picture of what was inside emblazened on the packaging. He was grinning so hard under the mask the his eyes were just slits.

Priceless.
Don't put off until tomorrow, what you can put off until the day after.

There is an exception to every rule, apart from this one.

From a SAHO post on facebook.

A cousin asked "What are your snack, now that the snacks are gone"

And my response was:

Shredded Cheese, we meet again. Here we are, at 3 AM.

And then I just broke down giggling.

I remember when times were rough, and money was short, I'd take a cheese single, a slice of sandwich meat, and roll it around a pickle spear. That's actually not a half bad snack either.

I like string cheese.  You must eat it by pulling strings off of it.  Mozzarella, preferably whole milk.  The pickles I consume separately, although I realize plenty of people eat them as a side with meat/cheese sandwiches.  I do love a good dill pickle, I was so happy to find an unopened jar in the back of my fridge.  I swear that refrigerator hides food from me.

I have one bag of string cheese left and opened it this afternoon.  I dread going back to the supermarket.  But that's not funny, so I'm at a loss.

I found some potato salad, and mom was like "Oh yeah, I forgot about that". It's in date, so meh.

I'm greedy with string cheese, those individual wrapped ones seem so very small I'd want them to at least be the size of a butter knife. The little chalk stick ones do nothing for me. But yes, I remember skinning them bit by bit as a kid.
