I want to say what that person should inject himself with, but I don't want a visit from the secret service.

Fun fact: A site I was a member on during Bush II, second term, Threatened Bush II. Not only did the secret service try to track the user down, they had an interview with the site owner as well.

That user was named "shitfuck." That's right, a website operator had to deal with the secret service over a user named "shitfuck"

So I'll try to avoid directly threatening the person who suggested INJECTING DISINFECTANTS today. Also, the sun magically kills illness now, despite the fact that standing and REAL medical advice on this is that the virus doesn't give a flying golly what climate you're in.

It made me flabbergasted.

Yes.  All of these cures can be added to the list of holding your breath for 10 seconds.  It's grand, really, to know that such a powerful rich country has a moron in charge.

Dog was digging around the living room as he does. He's not destructive, but he is a bit of an explorer.

The power cord of a fan fell and landed on his back, and he tensed up. All four limbs splayed, like a cyber thriller thief getting caught in the lasers.

Of course he bless'ed moved when I tried to snap a picture.

There are no cures what so ever, SOCIAL distancing does work, Upsetting that it is but tough.
Should show some pictures of the worst cases, most would be shocked to see what the virus can and does do.

You are underestimating the gullibility of my compatriots.  We have a president who suggests that injecting bleach might help.  And plenty of boneheads who are happy to take his word for it.  Plus, it is my firm belief that the President could murder someone on video and his followers, after viewing the evidence, would make up some reason not to believe it.  So much for the nation that was founded on such Enlightenment principles as reason and science.

In the interests of finding something funny, I typed that into youtube.  The best I could come up with was Cats vs Balloons.  So here:

I like that the video does not have the incessant whistling that features in the ones my mom finds. I realize they do that to cover the video audio to avoid content matching, but I hope to never hear it again.

I liked the ones where the cats tried to treat the balloons gently.

Mom thought the dog was dead and woke me up to check.

He looked pretty dead, but nope, just sprawled out like a corpse. I picked him up and he promptly punched me in the throat.

I had a giggle. That's probably how I'd react to getting picked up mid sleep.

I had a roommate once who could sleep through an ear shattering alarm clock.  She was in the next room.  The alarm woke me up and as it went on for a really long time, I went in to see what was up.  I was asking her, "how do you turn this thing off?" loud enough to wake anyone. I began to fear that she'd died during the night.  After I poked her and determined she was still breathing, I unplugged the clock and went back to bed.  She kept sleeping.

I was amazed as I'm an extremely light sleeper.  I suspect the house could burn down and she'd sleep through it.

Quite honestly, my dentist appointment today was at 2.30.

How appropriate.

They booked me again in 3 weeks for the same time, but trying to explain the humour in it to the receptionist was like banging your head against a wall.
