This is my favorite swimming pool. I have loved this place ever since I was a little girl. The resort, if you can call it that, sits in the middle of a hacienda. My friends used to climb to the roof of the building in front of the pool and jump off it. I once climbed up with them intending to jump too but the caretakers saw me and immediately sent someone to get me off the roof. They kept an eye on me after that.
The land behind that building slopes down gently leading to a small river. When we got bored playing in the pool, we'd go to the river and bathe there. Of course, there was always the risk that a carabao was bathing upriver but we didn't think about that.
This is the only pool that I know of that is filled with running water. The water comes from the mountains and flows freely all the time. When we were younger, you could drink the water from the pipes. It is also the only pool I know of that is drained and scrubbed clean every week. I used to help.
It was a bit cloudy yesterday and I suck at taking pics but I really love this place.
This is where the water flows from. It is never turned off.
