Futurama's back
« on: June 23, 2010, 01:27:16 PM »
Woohoo!

<Snip>

This site does not allow links to torrents/torrent sites, which you really should know by now.  I presume you have us confused with the Den so the benefit of the doubt is in order.

That's why i prefer the den,it's not as politically correct.

As far as I am aware, you are not allowed to discuss or post torrents on their public boards either.

It would stand to reason as it would, as you have done here, threaten the existence of the site.
Don't put off until tomorrow, what you can put off until the day after.

I loved the Comedy Central references. Groening is the best.

I sincerely doubt they're after you but you're the boss.

Gee, it's not a question of IF they are after us.  The fact of the matter is, they are actively seeking to act against file sharing.  If your post were to show up on a Google search, which thanks to all their web spiders is highly likely, it could come back to harm us.  The site would probably be closed and smokester might be punished financially.

Don't take it as an offense but NO fora I know of allows file sharing links on the public sub-fora.  And for the record, this is rule #2, #3, and #4 on DD.

Quote
No torrent requests, links to torrents or links to other file sharing type sites.

No warez links of sites that refer them.

No direct download links. Rapidshare, Megaupload and the like.

True indeed. Gee, you are a friend, so I speak as a friend here. Those rules are also in full effect at the Den. We do have a private by invitation only board that we do allow discussions and links for that subject; however, Google and all the other search bots can not access or index that board. If they could, we would not allow them either. The Den is hosted in the U.S., so we do have to be careful as well.

Futurama's been disappointing this year.  I liked the first episode, but the others weren't so good.

Now Zoidberg is the popular one!

Futurama's still going? Well I never.  Mind you, if South Park is still being produced then anything's possible.

Yeah, recently I of been thinking it shouldn't have returned.  Or maybe make it an annual Christmas thing.  I can't wait for Christmas.
