Sounds really good goldshirt.

Mondays we recover from so much eating on the weekend. So it's salad in summer and soup in winter. Even when I put a lot of stuff in the salad I still hate Mondays.  :D

Do you buy them or do you make them yourself?

Generally speaking I buy them but have made them before by adapting a nut roast recipe.  I sometimes buy the Asda ones which would make them Walmart :)

There's a recipe for them here.

Never tried it so don't know if it's any good.

Thank you red! It looks good indeed. And it's really easy to make. When I buy the nuts I'll try it.

Interesting suggestion of adding an egg so you can put them on a barby, I'll definitely have to try that when it warms up a bit.

I hate cooking, hate it, hate it. ;D

I'll eat any of the stuff you posted though.

For dessert, we often have fruit.  Sometimes, chocolates.  But we tend to avoid sweets at night for the kiddos.

Last night the missus and I had my spiced up version a Dal makhani with rice and paratha, while the munchkins had some ready made pasta dishes that they really like (gives us the opportunity to cook something really hot without having to do separate dishes for the kids).

Tonight it is the Tagliatelle dish night that I posted in the recipe thread, and I can't wait I love it so much!!

Bratkartoffeln

My husband could live on that dish only.

There was a lot of chicken left from last night so it's Tacos today. Darn, we're going to grow feathers!!

What a good idea Skadi! I'll try adding black beans. It might add moistness and sweetness too. Sometimes I add bulgur or lentils to soy patties.

I use black beans for lots of things.

Monday I did cook Salmon. Tuesday ate out Mexican food. Last night, cooked cheeseburgers, red bean and rice, and spinach salad. Tonight since I have a snow day off and extra time, I'm cooking a brisket, mashed potaotes and gravy, green beans, and fresh strawberries.
