BBQ dogs and burgers maybe, its quite hot, and tomorrow is a holiday. of course buckets of salad and red wine sounds good too  :)

I made a risotto yesterday with a Jamaican twist (cooking for the in-laws one of which is from there).  It worked out really well and I have no problem calling the variation modern cuisine to stop the Italians stringing me up. 

I served it with a red pepper salad and profiteroles for afters.

take out pizza and garlic fingers last night, pizza leftovers for supper tonight. i usually eat out for Sunday supper to sort of wind down the weekend.

fried egg and toast
hot dogs
rice crispy treats
fried chicken and salad and corn
chocolate bar and more rice crispy treats.

I should totally go on lemon water diet or something.

Dairy Queen ice cream cake, vanilla on top, then little chocolate crumble stuff, then chocolate ice cream on the bottom. bloody things went way up in price though, $24 for a small cake, rip off.
 
 
had 2 pieces (and a German sausage on a bun, and 2 hamburgers, bed time, stuffed  ;D ).

great way to cool off, its all ice cream. their so popular here all the major food chain stores sell them too. these are pretty popular, treatzza pizza, vanilla ice cream on a chocolate graham cracker crust, drizzled with caramel or chocolate, and toppings. these are only about $7.

Sausages on buns are also frequent at BBQs here. We do them on French bread.

Last night I made empanadas. Baked. Cheese, olives, onions, etc. No meat that time bc tonight I'm doing a pork cut my husband brought from the market with a happy birthday face.  ::)
