The family are having chicken and mash potato tonight although I bet my son wants the left over pasta from last night (he loved it), and I am going to have a margarita pizza with extra mozzarella and smoked salmon.

Not sure whether to have a red or white along with that - it has white written all over it but the missus can't drink tonight so it's only relative to my pizza?

I vote a Chianti

Tonight I am making a simple penne with tomato sauce - mainly because I am worn out from working and I can make that with minimal effort.

Thanks God I have some wine left.

Pasta and wine. How much better can it get?!  ;D

Whenever I doubt I go with red wine but maybe that's just my taste.

Weird meal tonight:

Oatmeal w/ brown sugar, milk and butter. And a grilled cheese sandwich w/ cheddar on sourdough bread.

Last night I made a Cholley (Punjabi) for us while the kids had a ready meal of their choice (they both opted for spaghetti and meatballs).  I made our curry and served it with a light biryani (half biryani half plain rice mixed together) and did some onion parathas too although those were frozen ones made by Taj.

Washed it down with a bottle of red although I can't remember what grape and the bottle's out in the recycling now.  All in all it was a lovely meal and made the missus very happy.

That meal sounds delicious, smokester!!
Last night some of my nephews came for dinner so I made milanesas with mashed potatoes and tomato salad, a meal no kid ever rejects. Or my husband for that matter.  :D

I love curry. I make a pretty mean chicken curry dinner myself .  8)

I'm so hung over I couldn't get out of bed until 3pm today (it was either get up, or leave the kids at school overnight) and because of that I have only had water all day. Now I am coming round from the daze I am absolutely starving so I am going to make an enormous mushroom pasta dish with lots of garlic bread.

No wine though.
