We had homemade chicken pot pies.  I make a ton of them and freeze them.  It takes a whole day and gives me a backache and they are really fattening, so I don't know if I'll make them again.  They are made from scratch with the sauce, chopped veg.s and bits of chicken all prepared and then placed in shells that I make also.  That was the last of them.  They were delicious.

It is similar hash browns expect these are in a circle form.

Potato pancakes are shallow-fried pancakes of grated or ground potato, flour and egg, often flavored with grated onion or garlic and seasoning. Potato pancakes may be topped with a variety of condiments, ranging from the savory (such as sour cream or cottage cheese) to the sweet (such as apple sauce or sugar), or they may be served ungarnished. Potato pancakes are sometimes made from mashed potatoes to produce pancake-shaped croquettes.[1]

why anyone would be interested in what I made for dinner is beyond me but..... roast pork tenderloin (Nobbys favorite)garlic cornmeal basted new potatoes and steamed broccoli. I had left over well cooked, oil & bacon soaked green beans and my counter part had healthy steamed broccoli. Yuck!
