The news said that the problem was there wasnt a proper place for the farmers or produce pickers to wash their hands after using the bathroom. Which then lends to e.coli scare and other stuff.

Tonight we had

Pan seared turkey cutlets with diced tomatos and shiitake mushrooms with brown rice and mixed vegatables

I bought a Teppanyaki grill from Lidl for £20 last week so tonight we had:

Pan Grilled Squid Teppanyaki, Teppanyaki Salmon and Teppanyaki Butter Prawns. Served it all with sushi rice and shredded carrots.

Man! was it good.

Except for the sushi rice the rest sounds OMG GOOD!

Tonight I've been invited to my brother-in-law's. I think he's making some kind of lentil stew. I'm bringing antipasto. The good thing is going to be the wine. He always buys good wine.

Except for the sushi rice...

It was a Japanese evening, so to speak.

hahahahahahahahahahaha.

Realistically, what they really meant was that there wasn't a place for the pickers to poo, so they just poo wherever.

I've had this problem in home improvement. If you don't tell the Mexican immigrant not to piss in the yard, they will piss in the yard.

I figure about the same for migrant farm workers.

Well, that's put me off whatever I was going to eat this evening.

I think I'll opt for a takeaway.

Red leaf lettuce salad w/persian cucumber, avocado, fig and home grown tomato and vinaigrette.

Toasted focacia with assorted cheeses, sliced pear.  Dessert:  apple crisp.

I just realized how incredibly racist my post probably came off as.

The guy who pissed in the yard was also a super hard worker, and I'd work with him any day, he just was generally not allowed indoors by homeowners because of racism.

Some men just like to piss in the yard. We were in a party one day. Nice house, big plot. And one of my friends decided not to go inside but to pee in the garden. He fell in a hole. They were building something or planting a tree, I don't remember. We had to call the emergency services. They probably worked more on his drunkness than in his bones.

On the menu last night: fish empanadas for me and the hubby, caprese empanadas for the daughter. A lot of work but I do quite a few and then freeze some so I have them for another day.
