hmm, have you tried the free version of
http://hotspotshield.com/? i used to use it to get Hulu and Pandora from the U.S., worked well (i've since bought a different one i can use for "sharing"
). i haven't actually tried playing a movie on popcornflix yet, i'll give it a try and report back.
*update: ok, sorry folks, scratch popcornflix, for now anyway. i could get to the site, pick a movie, but it wouldn't play, so i used my VPN for a U.S. IP and it played, but hesitating, short freezes, etc., would drive you nuts trying to watch a movie. try Hotspot Shield (free) for Crackle Xtopave, it may work for you, gives you a U.S. IP.
