I love Philip K D ick.  He's one of my favorite sci fi authors.
I haven't seen the new Total Recall, only a trailer.  It's gotten poor reviews here, though.  I will try to see it and get back to you about it.  The one with Arnie was ok, but his personality seemed to overpower the plot.  What I've seen of the new one seems like the CGI guys took over, so it will be interesting to compare them.

Wow, those language filters are really invasive!

The language filter is a setting in your profile.  Those who have turned it off would see "richard" just fine.  Smokester has a thread about it someone.

Hmm, I can't find the recent one smokester commented on.  I'll look for it and post here (if smokes doesn't beat me too it.  But basically, you should be able to go into your profile and disable the filter.

My post is here:

Everything is explained in the rules anyhow.

There are no restrictions on language unless you choose so.

Personally, I don't swear much unless I'm in an argument, which just happens to be every time my mouth moves.

Somebody I recently spoke to about the film mentioned Blade Runner as well.  If lots of people mention Blade Runner when talking about this film, I'm going to assume it's got some kind of Illuminati mind control majicks in it and avoid it completely.  That being said, I don't want to watch Colin Farrell... I don't know why, but I've disliked him for a long time now.

Wikipedia doesn't mention anything about him being a wife beater, so I'm probably going to have to sit through his films to figure it out.

Now Zoidberg is the popular one!

My apologies Smokes....

None needed.

A lot of the substitute words are meant to desensitise the issue and be a little funny. The aim is not to nanny the members, rather just give them a choice.
