Feeling bad
Work Colleague was sacked today for smoking outside of his lunch break.
He had 2 warnings already for this, his last one being a final written warning
for same subject.
He had plenty of opportunities to join Union and even lied twice about being a member.
Asked me to accompany his on his final warning and I refused, a verbal abuse was received by myself from him and referring to all other Union reps.
I calmly ( and this is rare for me) I clearly stated
" I haven't got you in this situation you have. sort yourself out"
Off I walked.
Sorry this happened at Christmas for him but 25 people were Talked to this week for same thing.
Busy time indeed.
