They caught one of the monsters.  Now.  Let's sit that guy down and say, "what were you thinking when you decided to go blow the legs off of a bunch of athletes and kill some children?"  That's something I have trouble wrapping my brain around.

Honestly, you want to figure out what causes this so you can eliminate the genes or somehow put a stop to it.  I understand his older brother got arrested for beating his former girlfriend.  He managed to impregnate her a couple years ago.  The father of the woman wants nothing to do with any of this and refused to comment to the Press.  Hardly a surprise.

He should be given due process, tried fairly and convicted if warranted.  But given the two suspects were throwing homemade explosives at police during the chase and tons of explosives were found at their apartment, I don't think this will be a difficult case to prove.

Massachusetts does not have the death penalty, but from what I saw he is going to be tried
in a Federal Court, and the death penalty could apply under Federal jurisdiction

Agree, I hope they don't make a martyr out of him. but with the huge push for gun regulations
and stiffer penalties for offenders it wouldn't surprise me if the US attorney for that area put Death Penalty
on the table

If he is guilty, presumably?
Beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Throws explosive devices, shoots it out with cops, hmm... maybe he's innocent.

I find it a little confusing that their parents claimed that the brothers were being monitored by the FBI so couldn't have planned the attack, which I'd initially disbelieved, and then is was revealed that they were interviewed by the Feds in 2011 so the parents' claim must have credence.

I could understand that people that may have once been considered a risk, somehow got under the radar and carried out a horrendous act or whatever, but these guys seemed to be armed to the teeth with explosives and other lethal weapons.  How could that occur?

Yeah, you're right. Save the money and string him up now. A trial would only confuse the issue.

From what I can see, the term "suspect" is still used consistently.

circumstantial to the original (marathon explosion) incident.
No doubt he will be charged for this incident, but hard evidence must to obtained to charge him with the Boston explosions.
Feelings have no meaning in the court of law, just facts and thats it

Yup:

"Suspect" indeed.

I think what happened here was that the security forces were really thorough before that released photos or gave any indication of who the perpetrators may be. This was due to "past mistakes" which they were open about, so when they did finally play their hand, it left little doubt in people's minds that who they were pointing the finger at had been researched, and were, most likely, the real culprits.

Given this scenario, it is understandable that people may already be convinced they are guilty.

When they robbed the convenience store and stole the SUV they identified themselves as the bombers. That and two shootouts pretty much convinces me of their guilt. Of course the remaining suspect is entitled to a fair trial and I hope he gets the best internet lawyers.  :P
