Just Cause 2 on the 360. Mom picked me up a triple pack because it was the same price new as the game itself in used condition. I liked the Island of Panau a lot. The factions were not particularly sympathetic, and one leader, Bolo, managed to make my mom mad. The enemy patter also pissed her off. Some of the missions were repetitive, and the game uses the 3 factions to pad a fairly short campaign. One stronghold for the Ular boys was repeated twice, but that may have been a bug.
Commuting can be a pain, and missions often leave you twenty clicks out in the boondocks.
Buying vehicles is nearly pointless, as they don't last long and are super expensive.
Weapon upgrades are worhwhile, but choose carefully. I fully upgraded the pistol, and was disappointed. I next upgraded the smg, and was impressed.
Armor and health upgrades are pointlessly chained together, and to an easter egg hunt from hell.
Overall, the game is much like the first installment, a beautiful, empty sandbox. Can't decide on tomb raider or sleeping dogs next.
Wish me luck, if my medical results improve I may get to stop being a bubble boy soon.
