Nice pics AJ, that looks like a very nice place. And that looks like an especially satisfying doob!  8) Puff, puff, give!

And Skadi that pic of the fireworks is fantastic - excellent the way the flares reflect off that car. Too bad about that streetlight in the upper right >:(, but I have to admit that that little lens flare circle it made like in the movies is pretty cool.  ;) :)

And for a second I thought smokes took that pic himself and I was going to ask why he bothered to come back.

I feel kinda lame offering up another moon pic :-\, but this one I have not altered in any way (I'm not sure why, but I really like the little spot of bright white on the skylight near the bottom-middle):

They're koala bears who managed to escape the continuing burning fires that devastated their country.

Australia has had a record heat wave with devastating fires as a result.
 
Koalas, if you don't know, are not social and don't come out of trees or down to the suburbs very often.
But the main thing is that they don't actually drink water normally at any time.
All their food and water source is provided from the eucalyptus leaves that they eat.
That's why they sleep about 22 hours of the day because the calories and liquid intake is not enough to keep them awake long enough,
but they consume enormous amounts of leaves in that time.
So.. the following photos are even more amazing once that fact is known.

KOALAS DURING THE HEAT WAVE IN AUSTRALIA

Begging water from passing people because there is no water! These are wild koalas, not those wildlife park semi-tamed animals.

At fiirst weh I read your post, I thought you said 'licking'.. which is what I'd thought it was doing the the biker's leg :D ... so I misread things twice ::)
