If you couldn't get to the game on Saturday, you dodged your mates and the TV until 10:00 and then you could watch your team play not knowing if they had won or lost. Until you know, the result can be anything.In the cat thing, if the cat is left in a box there is no doubt that:1) the cat was alive when it went in2) sometime in the future the cat will be dead.But you can't tell which one applies at any time without looking.
